The Titanic which is the most famous ship off all time is known as a tragedy but it is still a mystery how it sank. Are you sure that it was really an iceberg that caused the Titanic to sink? Now,I will tell you the real story of it…
Morgen Robertson who was an American was born in 1861.He was a seaman while he was young. Then, he was interested in jewellery and became a jeweller in New York .One day, he read a story and decided to be an author. His first story was sold for 25 dolars. Then he earned 1000 dolars from other ten stories he wrote. In 1897, on a winter night he planned to write a new story which was about a sea adventure.
HIS DREAM WAS THE WRECK OF THE TITAN
In his mind’s eye, there was a huge and unsinkable ship.In the story the theme of which is love, the characters board the ship and go to America from England. They fall in love each other in the most luxuries ship in the world but face an unpleasant surprise. The ship crashes into an iceberg and sinks.Everybody on board dies. This is the subject of the book.Robertson started to write his story and named it after FUTILITY or THE WRECK OF THE TITAN.

Therefore, Robertson fell into depression and underwent a psychological treatment in a hospital. In March of 1915,three years after the calamity of Titanic, Robertson died of heart attack in a hotel room. However, noone noticed that his prophecy came true…
HIS PROPHECY CAME TRUE
When Titan was published, almost noone was interested in it.
14 years later, the biggest and most luxuries ship, Titanic, departed from the Southampton harbour in England to America. It was so huge that people thought that it was unsinkable. But on 14.04.1912, an iceberg which suddenly appeared in the heavy fog caused Titanic to sink and a lot of people to die.

NOONE REALİZED THE GREAT PROPHECY
When it was published, almost noone bought and read the story of the Titan. Therefore Robertson fell into depression and underwent a psychological treatment in a hospital. In 1915, he died of heart attack in a hotel room as an unsuccessful author.
Noone was interested in the fact that he died three years after the calamity of the Titanic and noone was curious about how he guessed the Titanic wreck 14 years before.
Until 1980 when some researches into the Titanic started, noone remembered him. However, now his soul must be in relief…
THE MEMORIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO SURVIVED THE WRECK OF THE TITANIC
‘’On the night before the wreck,we were on deck with my wife. She gave me a hat with an emblem of the Whitwstar Company (the owner of the Titanik) on it.Suddenly , we saw a star on the sky break into pieces. My wife said that something bad would happen to us...’’ Kamarot Arthur Lewis
‘’Although my father was very excited,my mother was very depressed. That was the first time I had seen her crying. She was desperate and continuously saying that nothing was going well.I was only seven and had never seen a ship in my life up to that day.It was very big and every one was very excited. We boarded the ship.My father told my mother to have a rest and calm down but she was awake all nigt long.Only I was able to survive the wreck...’’ Eva Hart
‘’We left our school in the lunch break and went to the harbour to see the departure of the giant ship,Titanic. It left the harbour while everybody was clapping enthusiastically. At that time, the old man next to me nodded his head said ‘’ Oh,dear! There is no hope for these poor people...’’ He was right. Those poor people never came back... ‘’ Lois Brown Jacobs
How could Robertson predict such a big tragedy? That point is very interesting really. When you first told me this event, it took my attention. The similarities between Titan and Titanic are also unbelievable. Especially the love stories in both of them and their similarities are so attractive that in terms of our expression: it took me from myself:D:D I like your grammar and couldn't see any mistakes. So, thank you for sharing this:D
